10 months agoWe spent our honeymoon here and loved it. Lovely staff ! The rooms could be a little cleaner, and some things needed to be repaired. I’d love more vegan options on the menu as well. The spa was great and I recommend the signature massage😊 we loved the pool and the little pastries that were left in our rooms every day 😍

a year agoWe had an incredible experience at Anantara Bali Seminyak Hotel during my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that continued throughout my visit. The accommodations were simply luxurious, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness was impressive. The view from my room was breathtaking, and I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning. The culinary experience was equally outstanding. The hotel's restaurants served a wide range of delicious dishes, and I was especially impressed with the fresh seafood options. Dining with a view of the beach made every meal memorable. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the spa. The skilled therapists provided a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. I left feeling completely refreshed and renewed, a testament to the spa's quality and ambiance. Overall, my stay at Anantara Bali Seminyak Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of exceptional service, exquisite food, and a world-class spa made it a memorable getaway. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable Bali experience.

a year agoUrgent Renovation in all areas is required. Pictures on website are not reliable. Room is big as they sold as suites but layout/ design is worse than images and imagination. Furniture is really uncomfortable. White linens and towels are not white and not 5star or luxury grade. - Luckily I got upgraded to sea view room due to Titanium members. Otherwise one night stay would be too long. Rooftop Restaurant entrances are super non-sense of welcoming. Poor design. Breakfast restaurant is so so. Food is basic and not delightful. The worst Nasi Goreng Friend Rice I’ve ever had in Bali after 30 years or more than 10 times visit. Good wine by the glass all out of stock. Cocktails on Happy Hours came with poor taste. Obviously I feel that it syrup mixed with poor spirit. Cosmopolitan was like pink syrup and I was not allowed to change the type of cocktails ordered during Happy Hours. I even gave them back the 2nd glass. Hard to communicate with some staff in English. Balinese culture is hospitable but 40% of staff here are ignorant. Those, who are good, they are very good. No welcomes - No departure assistance. Lobby stairs rails are super dusty. Only good impression of beach view and sunset view. I had during the stay here.

a year agoWe stayed here for a few days after leaving Padma in Ubud. To say it lightly, we were extremely disappointed. You can tell the hotel was a 5-star resort at one point, but, unfortunately has not kept the cleanliness and up-to-date features you would see at a 5-star hotel. The hotel is getting some renovation currently, but they did not disclose that to us during check-in. Construction starts at 8:15am and lasts until about 8pm some nights. So if you needed a nap during your stay, it’s not going to happen! There is a ton of old water damage throughout the rooms/hotel, rust build up, mildew smells, and stained towels/sheets. We arrived to a room that had ants throughout. Also, the shower and bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. We heavily considered changing hotels but didn’t want to not be refunded (as we saw other people had this issue on previous reviews). Our neighbors caught their foot on a loose nail in the room from water damage to the floor. Also, I got food poisoning after eating at the breakfast buffet (but also was the only one in my party to get sick). The staff, though, are very friendly and the sunset view from the hotel is quite impeccable. The staff and location is about all this hotel has going for them. Would recommend staying somewhere else if at all possible.

a year agoMy recent stay at what was supposed to be a luxurious 5-star hotel Anantara Seminyak, turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I cannot express enough how deeply disappointed I am with the uncleanliness of the staff, rooms, and the lack of any form of satisfactory customer service during my stay. Upon arrival, it was evident that the hotel was not living up to its prestigious reputation. It was clear that personal hygiene and cleanliness were not a priority for them. The bed sheets emitted an unmistakable stench of sweat. It was evident that they had not been changed or properly cleaned in a long time. The overall cleanliness of the room was visible with dirt and dust in corners and on surfaces. It was a far cry from the pristine conditions one would expect from a 5-star establishment. To add insult to injury, I requested a refund as I couldn’t stay one more night in this hotel and I was promised a refund will be credited to my account. 3 weeks have passed since and I have yet to receive my refund from them, when I contacted them they shared a screen shot of the transaction and what is even more shocking is that the accounts number the transaction was made to was not my account…. It is absolutely unacceptable that a supposedly prestigious hotel would allow such actions uncleanliness to persist and fail to address customer concerns in a satisfactory manner. As a guest, I expected a superior level of service and an experience that would justify the high price tag. Unfortunately, Anantara Seminyak failed to deliver on all fronts. I strongly advise against considering Anantara Seminyak for your accommodations. The uncleanliness of the staff and rooms, combined with the offensive odor and the lack of any form of refund or resolution, make it abundantly clear that this establishment is far from deserving of its 5-star rating. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
